KGS YOUNG PIANISTS COMPETITION

The April 28 KGS Music Mornings will feature performances by winners of the 19th Annual Knox-Galesburg Symphony Young Pianists Competition with Mikhail Petukhov, acclaimed pianist and KGS soloist. Awards will be presented by Dr. Bruce Polay of the KGS, and Dr. Lori Sundberg of Carl Sandburg College at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Galesburg. The annual event will conclude Sunday May 6 with a Recital of Competition winners and honorable mentions in Kresge Recital Hall, Knox College at 3:00 pm.
