Hailed for his prodigious technique, Michael Adcock has cultivated a versatile career as soloist, chamber musician and pre-concert lecturer. A recipient of the Lili Boulanger Memorial Award, Adcock was also a winner in the Washington International Competition, as well as the Kosciusko Foundation Chopin Competition. He debuted in New York’s Carnegie Recital Hall in 1998 and has performed throughout the U.S., France, Italy, and Australia.
A former Artist-in-Residence at the Aspen Institute (MD), Adcock is currently a faculty member of the Washington Conservatory in Bethesda (MD), associate piano faculty at the Sarasota Music Festival and artistic director of the Chalice Concert Series in Columbia (MD).
