Anne Suda, cello7:30 Orpheum Theatre

Anne Suda, daughter of KGS principal cello Carolyn Suda and violinist David Suda, received her Bachelor of Music degree (magna cum laude) from Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music in Cello Performance and English Literature in 2008. She was recipient of Vanderbilt’s 2007-08 Outstanding String Player Award and was first cello with the Vanderbilt University Orchestra and New Music Ensemble. While at the Sydney Conservatory of Music (Australia) in 2006, she served as principal cellist of the Sydney Conservatory Chamber Orchestra. Suda is currently pursuing a masters of music degree in cello performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
