Dr. Randall Faust, KGS principal horn, is professor of music at Western Illinois University and hornist in the Camerata Woodwind Quartet and the LaMoine Brass Quintet. A leader in music performance and study, he is a former President of both the National Association of College Wind and Percussion Instructors and of the International Horn Society. As a hornist, he has established a reputation as a performer of contemporary composers. Past performance credits include many broadcasts over Peach State Public Radio while principal horn of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (GA) and as a member of the Clarion Wind Symphony. Among Faust’s accolades, he is recipient of the 2010 and 2006 College of Fine Arts and Communications Award for outstanding Creative Activity and the 2009 International Horn Society Giovanni Punto Award.
