Faye Seeman, harp7:30 Orpheum Theatre

Faye Seeman, principal harp of the Chicago Sinfonietta Orchestra and Joffrey Ballet Orchestra since 1992, founded the “Kithara” Trio in 1980 and has since published many arrangements for the group. The “Kithara” Trio has produced two CD’s and has been heard in recital at major venues in Chicago and in the Midwest. Her newest group, the “Zigzag” Jazz Harp Quartet, recently recorded “Caught,” a CD now performed throughout the US which has been remixed in jazz format for ZZ4. Seeman has performed as soloist in 2008 with the Chicago Sinfonietta and Harper College Orchestras. For the past 17 years, she has been on the faculty of the Birch Creek Musical Festival (WI) and is Adjunct Professor of Harp Studies at Wheaton College and Northern Illinois University.
Principal flute for the Knox-Galesburg Symphony for 14 years, Carol Neuleib received her bachelor and master of music degrees from Illinois State University, where she studied with Max Schoenfeld. Neuleib continued her studies with Julius Baker, principal flautist with the New York Philharmonic and professor at the Juilliard School in New York. Neuleib has a private flute studio and has been a member of the Classique Woodwind Quintette of the Quad Cities for over twenty years.
Dr. Eric Ginsberg, KGS principal clarinet, is professor of clarinet at Western Illinois University, artist/faculty member at the Brevard Music Center (NC), and a member of the Camerata Woodwind Quintet. He has been a visiting professor of clarinet at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and former member of the Oklahoma Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of Oklahoma City, Omaha Symphony and the Lincoln Symphony (NE). Ginsberg with bachelors and master’s degrees from the Juilliard School, has also performed with the Goldman Band, New York City Ballet Orchestra, and the Brooklyn Philharmonic.
