Sarah Moran, soprano7:30 p.m. ~ Orpheum Theatre

The operatic roles of Sarah Moran, lecturer in voice and Opera Workshop at Knox College, include Sophie in Massenet’s Werther with Opera Pacifica, Luigia in Donizetti’s Viva La Mamma and The Shepherd in Puccini’s Tosca with Tacoma Opera; The Dew Fairy and the Sandman in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel with Kitsap Opera; and the Countess Ceprano in Verdi’s Rigoletto with Opera Quad Cities.
Equally at home on the concert stage, Moran has performed as soloist in Haydn’s Mass In Time of War with the Galesburg Community Chorus; Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Schubert’s Mass in G and Mozart’s C Minor Mass with the Elgin Choral Union; Handel’s Messiah with the Tacoma Symphony and Mozart’s C Minor Mass with the University of Washington Symphony Orchestra. This fall, Moran will perform as soloist in Bach’s B Minor Mass with the Nova Singers and collaborate with Dr. Polay to present recitals at Carl Sandburg College and in Toulon (IL).
